Colorado Psychiatric Treatment for Children’s Mental Health

Mental Health Evaluations & Medication Management

Compassionate Care That Helps Your Child Grow, Cope, and Thrive.

Our psychiatry clinic offers compassionate, convenient psychiatric treatment for children, adolescents, and teens 6 and up throughout Colorado. Our care is trauma-informed, family-centered, and designed to help children feel seen, understood, and supported.

At Summit Together Mental Health, we understand that childhood isn’t always carefree and that even little ones can carry big feelings. Whether your child is struggling with behavior, anxiety, focus, or emotional regulation, we’re here to help with gentle, age-appropriate psychiatric care tailored to their unique needs.

When to Seek Support for Your Child

As a parent, you know your child best. If something doesn’t feel right—whether it’s emotional outbursts, withdrawal, or struggles at school—your concern is worth looking into. Mental health support can help your child build tools to feel calmer, more connected, and better understood.

You might notice in your child:

  • Intense worry, fear, or clinginess

  • Trouble paying attention or sitting still

  • Frequent meltdowns, irritability, or mood swings

  • Difficulty sleeping or changes in appetite

  • Withdrawal from friends, family, or favorite activities

  • Regression or behavior changes after a life transition

  • Struggles with self-esteem, identity, or big emotions

We believe in early support, not wait-and-see.
The sooner we start, the more tools your child can develop to grow in a healthy, confident way.

Children Focused Conditions We Support

We provide psychiatric care for a wide range of children’s mental health concerns all across Colorado including:

  • ADHD and emotional dysregulation

  • Anxiety, separation anxiety, and phobias

  • Depression, low motivation, and irritability

  • Trauma and stress-related symptoms

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with co-occurring concerns

  • Grief, family transitions, or divorce-related stress

  • Behavioral challenges at home or school

No matter what your child is facing, we create a care plan that’s as unique as they are. And we make sure that you feel safe and comfortable with it, too.
